A barometer is a device used for measuring atmospheric pressure. Atmospheric pressure is the force exerted on the Earth’s surface by the weight of the atmosphere above it. Barometers are often used to measure changes in atmospheric pressure, which can indicate changes in the weather. Barometers are often a part of a weather station to give the complete view of the current weather conditions.
