Anode Ladders in Structural Health Monitoring<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anode ladders play a critical role in monitoring the progression of corrosion<\/a> in concrete reinforcement. These devices are strategically installed at the time of concrete pouring. By measuring the electrical current in anodes across various depths of the concrete, it is possible to accurately estimate the depth of corrosion<\/a>. Anode ladders consist of a set of anodes placed in a row, such that the contraptions looks like a ladder with two structural fastening the anodes in each side.
